Description: This webinar will explore how miniature horse programming can support learning in areas such as communication, boundaries, teamwork, safety, health and nutrition, and introductory horse education. Participants will gain practical insight into developing curriculum activities, preparing miniature horses for community-based work, identifying funding opportunities, and building partnerships with schools and community organizations.
Whether you are looking to expand your current services or launch a new outreach program, this session will provide ideas and tools to help you bring the impact of equine-assisted learning into new communities.

MEET YOUR INSTRUCTOR
Cassidy Fredrickson OTR/L, PATH Intl. CTRI
Cassidy Fredrickson joined the HETRA team as a volunteer in 2014. Cassidy started working at HETRA in 2018 when she became a PATH Intl. Certified Therapeutic Riding Instructor and now also works as an occupational therapist since 2019. In addition to treating participants in our adaptive riding and therapy services programs, Cassidy is also the Lead Instructor and Therapist at HETRA and Program Coordinator for the Miniature Horse Learning Program. Cassidy has a Bachelor's in Rehabilitative Studies, with a Minor in Psychology and a Masters in Occupational Therapy from the College of Saint Mary.
